Its a pity they don't give a preview of the pictures that are included in the calender.
They've done that the last few years.

I had a similar experience to you Conn. Took a day off and had the scope setup in the back yard to catch as much of the transit as possible. In the end there was about 15 minutes of clear skies about 3pm and by the time i found the sun, i had roughly a minute of viewing. No pictures to show for it, ...

At the last club meeting we mentioned the possibility of going for christmas drinks.

Shea was saying that we got a mention in the Daily Mail on the 21st after the eclipse as well.

I was in easons today and I flicked through the AI magazine, saw a photo of the lough gur science advisory council, including yourself Frank.

It was on the rte.ie website as well. I think they took the list from the IFAS site.
