It's pure luck getting the opportunity to see it. I just so happened to be on the right shift pattern this week and to be on the motorway every evening at sunset so I had at least some chance of coming across a gap in the clouds. Well, I got another opportunity to see / photograph this comet tonight...

Lol. Pulled off the motorway into The Clare Inn on the way home from work that night as there was lucky break in the clouds. Bloody hell was it faint or what!? Well said Simon. I think the public liability insurance cover ends at someone tripping over a telescope. :P Regarding the site the rugby grounds in Coonagh sounds good. I was actually driving past there today and was thinking that somewhere down there would be better than the carpark funnily enough....

The world map java notification is still hanging the site once you click either run now or always run or whatever. If you click cancel it takes a second and then it's back to normal. It also keeps asking for a choice no matter how many times you click always run. even with cookies enabled. :-( Font....
