Having taken the 'Quality Tour' I found the descriptions of the design features and materials used very compelling .... all in all a very powerful sell.
Why could telescopes like this not be produced in Ireland and exported worldwide? Look what Rosse achieved all by himself all those years ago.

Congratulations Frank .... your Barcelona Moon eclipse image was broadcast on last night's programme. A good section of the programme was devoted to the eclipse but they saw very little through clouds from the beach near Selsey (I think that is near Patrick Moore's home).

Dave, Have not left yet , only going out on 12th from Dublin Airport (ex Shannon is a 2 leg trip). Yes, I will have a camera. Weather in Italy and Sardinia is very wet at the moment but it can settle very fast. I am sure Barcelona will be likewise.
