2015 BSP observing guide

Hi Guys, With the 2015 BSP only 2 weeks away, Frank and I think it would be a good idea to throw together a simple observing plan , one for people to use as a basis for selecting what constellations to track down and not to miss things like Iridiums and ISS passes. Many events are common to both nig...

Re: Persied Meteor shower at Lough Gur this week, 12Aug2015

Been midweek, I wasnt keen on proposing a club thing at LG for it, those who want to see it will make the effort, it was all over the media, and there a load of people there anyway,

Re: Registax tutorial

Very nice Conn, a pity we didn't get a chance to finish our conversation last night on this, time got the better of us. The 4th image of the appenine mountains is excellent. When you get a chance, can you say where the notes became confusing, I'd like to change whatever is needed to make them more c...

Venus and Jupiter

Hi, Given the ongoing apparition of these 2 planets in the western sky, I had to point the scope at them and get some shots, I didn't want to wait til it got dark as the planets would only get nearer to the horizon and become blurred, so I got them in daytime, http://farm1.staticflickr.com/373/18626...
