Shannonside Astronomy Club Global Astronomy Observing Week

Post by Dave Lillis » Sun Apr 01, 2012 10:24 am

Hi All,
As part of Global Astronomy Month, the club will be running public observing sessions at O'Callaghans Strand in Limerick from 8pm onwards, everyday from the 1st to the 7th of April, weather permitting. On Thursday the 5th we have a club meeting as per usual in Mary I college so we'll be starting the observing at 9.30pm instead. The club will have its telescopes there as well as the high power binoculars, you dont need to bring along your scope if you dont want to but you can if you wish. This is a public free event for all levels of interest, all are welcome.
