Lunar eclipse tonight, 31st December

Post by Dave Lillis » Thu Dec 31, 2009 6:16 pm

Hi All,
A very partial lunar eclipse is on tonight, peaking at around 7.30 tonight.
Very partial meaning it'll be barely noticable, have a look if you can.

Even at just 8% it was quite visible.
I was surprised!

Some neighbours and family had a look also.
Not jaw dropping but nice all the same.
