The Moon and NYC

Post by Frank Ryan » Wed Mar 26, 2008 8:09 pm

After seeing Daves holiday snaps it made me think
we dont use this section really at all...

So here go's...

I Didn't get much free time for astrophotography in NCY last week
(due to the Paddys Day festivities :wink: )
but I did manage to catch the full Moon on Friday night at least.

Image

This was taken at around 20 past 8 on Friday the 22nd of March
on East 57th st.
Composite shot of the street and Moon merged & colour adjustments in Photoshop

Street:
TV = 2 sec.
AV = 22
ISO = 400
Lens = 18-55mm
F/L = 53.0mm

Moon:
TV = 1/20 sec.
AV = 22
ISO = 400
Lens = 18-55mm
F/L = 27.0mm

Cheers Dave.
Is it a bit much?
I think all the shapes make for interesting viewing.
But I don't want one feature to overpower the other if you know what I mean.
