Shot of moon

Post by John O'Mahony » Sat Apr 19, 2008 11:59 am

This is a shot of the moon with the C11 and the DFK camera. The seeing was pretty bad and the scope hadn't cooled down when I took the shot. For some reason Registax won't take more than about 1000 frames without crashing. helical focuser was used to gain focus

I think my collimation is a bit out.

Hi John,
Its certainly a hard tac to master, looks like the focus is out and the stacking in registax didn't align properly, bring in the avi/bmps in the next meeting and we'll see what we can do with it.
