I ran off a few starscape shots with the Dolmen in the foreground.

Poulnabrone dolmen (Poll na mBrón in Irish meaning "hole of sorrows")
is a Neolithic period portal tomb which dates back to about 2500 BC. Situated in the Burren, Co. Clare.
A thin capstone sits on two 1.8m (6ft) high portal stones to create a chamber in a 9m (30ft) low cairn.
The tomb houses the remains of one newborn baby, six juveniles, and 16-22 adults.
There are 40 smaller such dolmens in the area. This is the most well known dolmen in Ireland.

Mikkel, what can I say???, a serious case of bad timing..
On a more general note, one big problem that I was looking for a solution to was how would we cope using Franks relations place in Doonbeg for a bigger number of people,???? I don't know how the neighbours would react against a load of cars with complete strangers hanging around in the middle of the night right next door with no lights. I think eventually we'd land Franks relations in trouble with the neighbours.
BUT, thanks to this trip and a fair bit of good luck, we found the PERFECT observing site in the burren, a fine sized mud free car park well off the road with no trees r houses and its about 1 hour from Limerick.
I would suggest that next time we go out that we go there and not to Boher to see what the rest of the group think of it.
Th first trip would require a bit of organisation which I'm up to do.
