Saturn from the Burren 21 st March 09

Post by Frank Ryan » Sat Mar 21, 2009 7:51 am

Here is an image of Saturn Dave and I got from his Obsessionator
last night in the Burren.

The shot does not do justice to the actual eyepiece view.
What a scope!

Dave,
I'll bring in a USB stick with the two best AVI's on them to work today
if you drop in.
Just give me a ring at work or on the mobile if I'm not in the showrooms
and I'll come down.

Nice shot. Glad you managed to get some viewing time up there. Limerick was very bad last night. I managed to get a shot of M42 throuh the murk but you hardly make out Orion with the haze. By 10pm it was completely washed out.

Will do Frank,
The image isn't bad at all, I'm actually glad I didn't have the AVIs last night, I'd have been up all night processing.

Carrying around my 20" obsession is going to kill me, but what a way to go. :)
