Saturn 2nd June 09

Tonight the seeing was very good in Shannon,
the jst stream is well off and the HP system
is alowing some leisurely observing.

Here's a quick shot of Saturn I took tonight with the

SAC club 10'' SCT.
2 Min AVI taken with Phillps SPC900 webcam & IR filter
Registax and K3CCD tools.

I processed this on a laptop so it may look a little off
until I get a chance to see it on a good screen.
Still,
just thought I'd post it up.
The rings are still very much at an angle.

Nice shot Frank. The 10" is a decent planetary scope.

No it was colour but I processed it when I was googlie eyed from tiredness.
I must re do it.
Ya the 10'' is a fab scope indeed.
A great buy for the club.
We must get people using this.

yip, that was the plan, its big enough yet portable enough to be worth the effort.
