Hey Guy's.
I just got my 1st DSLR Camera and I was looking for some information on using it for basic astrophotography. Any advice will be helpful, even any web sites that might be helpful to me would be much appreciated.
Cheers Roy

Hi Roy,
Sorry for the lateness of the reply.
I'm considering doing an a talk in the December meeting in basic astrophotography, webcams, dslr and so on, it would kinda suit what youre asking about.
So, if you can hold on for 2 weeks or so, you'll see it all at the december meeting.
for now,
here is a basic rundown of camera selection
http://www.astropix.com/HTML/I_ASTROP/CAMERAS.HTM
this would be a good run down on DSLR imaging, if you wanted to get into it good-o, lots of usefull links in there aswell..
http://www.covingtoninnovations.com/dsl ... astro.html
and this one gives a slightly different angle on the same stuff. Images plus is an expensive but good program for running DSLR cameras, dont get hung up on it. What you want to understand are the principles behind it all.

Hope this helps.
