Hey all.
Just a quick post to let you know a liitle about myself, my name is Roy Stewart I'm 34yrs old and live just outside Limerick city. I've always had a passion for astronomy but never got round to doing anything about it til now. Recently I was diagnosed with rheumathoid arthritis and I have to give up playing golf. But every clould has a silver lining as now I can start my new hobby, passion and love of the UNIVERSE. Looking forward to meeting you all real soon.

Sorry to hear of your recent medical problems, I hope you enjoy these boards, any questions just fire away.
Astronomy is one of these things where you can go into it as much or as little as you like, you wanna learn the constellations or you wanna get into astrophysics, thats up to you.
There is a good spread of interest in the club, there are some who are observers, others into the physics side while others just inhale astrobooks, some try and do abit of each.
