Its an excellent scope alright
were u think of getting it for the club
or just saying it in general??

Cos I think it would be a great
investment for the club..
We could even move on the 10"
and try recoup some of the money..

Cheers Roy :D :D

it would be a serious stretch, but if we weren't buying the laptoip, we could do it, its worth thinking about. !!!
What say you Gordon ?!?
We already have 2 big scopes, do we need a third one.??
This would be a completely different animal, very sophisticated and alot easier to break, but what a scope though !!

Well the scope gets my vote...
I believe we shouldn't let it
pass through our fingers
we should snap it up...
I reckon if we offer him €1300 he'll take it...
A great investment for the club,
The laptop will be out of date in a couple
of years, but this scope (if properly treated)
could last the club decades..

Thats just my thoughts..

Cheers Roy :D :D

He probabily would, only thing is that the criteria for a club scope are not quite the same as your own private scope.
The big thing that scares me is the drive system, if it broke down, we could be facing a big bill, its not idiot proof and could be damaged easily enough, just like my own 12"LX200 drive system.
Its a fine system, all the same I like the club scopes to be hassle free, robust and almost unbreakable.

When I put up the link, I was thinking that maybe someone in the club might want it.
