lxd 75 finder scope

Hi Guys,
as I have said in my other thread I have acquired a lxd75 my only and I am delighted with it my only gripe is I much rather the finder scope from my messier r-102 a 8x50mm illuminated rectical which I find very easy to use I was hoping to mount said finder scope on my LXD. The problem the lxd finder scope mount very simply with 2 small thumb screws
This is not off my scope but you get the jist the finder scope mount is placed directly on these. The messier uses a diffent system
Could any one give suggestions on the easiest way to mount the messier finder on my lxd 75.
