Its looking like the SW of Ireland
is the place to be, it seems to be clearing
from there heading NE...

But its not 100%, but its the most likely
place to be clear at those times..

My gut (and a day of pouring over the weather sites) that right here is the best position.
Lads,
Where is the site on the hill in Killaloe EXACTLY
is there a road to it? Parking?
I wanna see this on Google earth!!!
If we decide to go there I want to know the location.

Guys. We need to call this!!
I'm going to bed for a few hours (been on nights)
It's looking like the North is out.
Skerries is still a maybe but the best odds are actually here in Limerick.

So is there a plan?
Like in storm chasers "We need to make a decision Reed!!!"

IF we go to skerries, the latest we can leave here is midnight.

Well I'm packed up and ready..
So I'm willing to hit killaloe..
I can pick up Conan at about 2:30am
in Adare and we can meet up at Finnaghans
car park in Annacotty about 3am and head out to killaloe..

Well that would be my plan.. Anyone else agree?

is 2.30 leaving it abit late, ??
I was thinking we head up to tountina and IF the site was too windy, it leaves us enough time to find a better place further down the mountain.
remember the 2010 lunar eclipse.....

this was something we should trash out and was going to at half six when we all meet up.
and of course, we dont all have to go up at the same time.

Looking at the weather I think we would have a better chance of seeing the Loch Ness Monster!

See ye at Hassetts X @ 2:30 so!
I assume Dave you know the exact spot up the mountain?

well, its really the peak we'll have to go to, so Simon says
he knows the place very well from been in the radio club.
now, its going to be windy up there, but we should be able to go in the wind shadow of the buildings there, so it should be ok.

Cool!
I was hoping it was the peak.
He knows a way up that's not got a barrier on it so?

Windy?
I'd say so! Worth checking the wind forecast so in detail for that spot.

This is getting exciting.
