Ya Dave, I'm with u...
I'm not gonna miss that..
I'll get over my fear of flying
and hit where ever in the world is best
for viewing the transit.

I done the exact same thing when
I woke up today, I hit the web for
Mercury transits... And i'm opening a
Mercury transit account in the bank this week..

It can double as my solar eclipse account
for 2015..

Cheers Roy

Ok.. Just had a long talk with Lorraine
and I think we're heading to Malaga
for the May 2016 transit...
It'll last just over 7h20m..
And going on past Holidays to Malaga
May is a good month, not too hot and
crystal clear skies...

Arrive Saturday the 7th and head home
on Saturday the 14th, Just make a Holiday
out of it...

Cheers Roy :D :D

Jeez Roy that's moving fast for ya!
I'm only reading the post and your already booked to go! Lol.
Ya.
Good stuff Dave.
Was thinking the same thing.
I'm making up a list. (don't have the time to do this properly ATM)
Must post it up on a new thread see can we all knock heads and come up with
A good list of future astronomical events and maybe a star rating or something for importance?!
Anyway,
Transit of mercury.
I'm all on for that!!

Frank it'll take me at
least 4 years to build
myself up to get on a plane,
My fear is that bad...

And if I cant get over my fear
It gives enough time to think
about a ferry and getting a campervan
on the Continent and drive through Spain..

I know its 4 years away, but before
you know it these thing just creep up
on you..

Cheers Roy :D :D
