well, what can I say, totally shattered now.
good observing session, eh Frank !
for home at 6.15 a good 3-4 hours observing, saw a about 10-14 meteors, lost count to be honest, they definitely tapered off after 4am,
a good warm up for the geminids in december.

what we need to do guys is make up a new group in the text alert system, one where I can send out a text alert for something like this at ANY time of the night and not be shot. it would be used for events like this, impromptu SPECIAL events, aurora alerts or anything that might happen in the middle of the night.

Yip sounds great.
Good night I thought.
Saw 18 myself. Aprox 3/4 of those were sporadics.
I think we got the best of it.
They are FAST mind!
I'm sure the count would have been much higher if not for my useless human eyes.
Lookin forward now to the geminids.
Gonna invest in an auto remote timer for the camera, a good lounge chair &
Some heater packs/ wear.
Last time I thought we were gonna die it was so cold!
