Comet ISON

Comet ISON will have it's close encounter with the Sun when it reaches perihelion this evening, Thursday 28th November, at 18:44 UTC. Let's hope it survives grazing the sun - at it's closest it will be just about 1 million Kms above the surface.
There are many web sites with loads of informnation. The NASA sites are particularly good as they will be posting the very latest details from their SOHO spacecraft. The complete path of ISON will be tracked before during and after perihelion. Try the following links:
