Space - how far can you go

I read a fun observing 'challenge' in S@N last month.
Basically it challenges you to observe 10 progressivly further out and then fainter objects.
You start with naked eye and end up with..well..thats the challenge.
Here is the list,
object name / catalogue number - distance away & what you might need to see it.
See how many you can tick off.
As I say - just a bit of fun
1. Orion Nebula - M42 (+4) 1500 LY - Naked eye
2. The Double Cluster - NGC 869 & 884 (+5) - 7000 LY Naked eye / binos
3. The Great Cluster - M13 (+5.7) - 21000 LY - Naked eye / Binos
4. M2 globular cluster in Aquarius (+6.6) - 40000 LY - 4'' scope, maybe binos in dark sky.
5. Andromeda Galaxy (+3.5) - M31 - Naked eye from dark site / binos.
6. M49 elliptical galaxy in Vergo (+8.4) 74 mill LY - Binos/small scope.
7. The Coma Cluster - Abell 1665 (+11.5) 300 mill LY - 4'' reflector.
8. The Hercules Galaxy cluster - Abell 2151 (+14) 500 mill LY - 10'' reflector with good seeing.
9. The Corona Borealis Cluster - Abell 2065 (+16) 1 Bill LY - 16'' scope.
10. Quasar 3C 273 (+12.5) 2 Bill LY - 10'' reflector.
