Shuttle visible over Ireland after launch again

Post by Frank Ryan » Thu Aug 27, 2009 9:20 pm

STS128 are re scheduled to launch on Friday at 11.59PM E.S.T.
(for us about 5am on Saturday)
so we should if it's clear see the shuttle and external tank again.
This time they will pass further north than last time so they should be
almost overhead.

Can't wait!!
:D :D

Clouded out as per usual here in Shannon.
I have come to the end of my strength to hope for
clear skies.
Time for a new hobby me thinks.

cloud cloud cloud,
Nothing seen this time around.

Bed?
What's that!

I stayed up when I got back then just as I was attempting to get
into the sac at 6AM his nibs woke and it was feed and play time...
Then I had to go do some stuff and got back at 5PM
Terry has a night out with work tonight so I'm minding the wee man again..
just got him off to sleep there..
So let's see,,
that's 40 hour awake straight.
...and the crazy thing is right now I'm not a bit tired...
I think by midnight though I will out light a light.
I hope he sleeps though till 6 again...

Good advice John. Alas Scott has other plans for me.
:-)

So there are two 5 O'Clocks in the day...
Who knew!...

Blanket cloud outside now.
Was hoping to catch the shuttle/iss.
