Nanosail D

Post by Frank Ryan » Mon Feb 21, 2011 12:26 pm

If you don't know what this spaceship is then
Google it and check it out!
It's pretty cool.
There are passes at the moment but
be warned, its pretty dim and VERY difficult to see let alone photograph.
I've been trying & last night from Clare under good conditions I could not see it.
Also its moving quite slow in comparison to the likes of the ISS.
The good news is that its dropping further in orbit so its gonna brighten and due to its massive solar sails, flairs are likely.
Keep an eye out!

Ya Nasa & Spaceweather.
It's gonna be a lot of startrails and white lines maybe the odd flare...
It's not very favourable for imaging right now but worth a shot I suppose..
