Lunar occultations of stars / planets

Post by Frank Ryan » Sun Mar 20, 2011 7:58 pm

After the surprise observation of the lunar occultation
of P3 Leo tge other night it spured me into
looking at upcoming events like it.
Sorry to say.. I couldn't find any!
Not for the next 12 months anyhow.
There is a nice early morning conjunction
of a lot of the planets in 1012
(the famous line up & end of days
stuff because of the Myan calandar ending)
I only gave it a short quick scan so I must
go at it again in more detail but those
occultations are rare enough.
