Shuttle & Tank to be visible after launch over Ireland!!

Post by Frank Ryan » Sat Apr 23, 2011 1:15 am

Awesome! The Shuttle & External Tank will be visible passing over Ireland 20 min after launch next Friday!
You HAVE GOT to see this... It was really something special to see it last year...
It's set to launch at Kennedy at 8:47pm - so aprox 20min after that it'll be over us...
Can't wait for this!!!!!!

:D

Here's the Heavens Above chart for the ISS on the night:

Roy, we really need to alert the media about this,
also, do we fancy observing it together
as a club?

yip, heard about this on Thursday, I have to say that the last time I saw this I was completely blown away by it, this is probabily thee last time we'll ever see something like this as the shuttle fleet is been mothballed.

And their gonna run an ad
every month to announce our

Cheers Roy :D :D
