Well guys'n gals,
the european astrofest is on Friday/saturday 10/11th February 2012, I'm thinking of heading over.
The website is
http://www.astronomynow.com/astrofest/tickets.html

I'd suggest we go like last time, head over on an early ryanair flight on friday morning, stay overnight on Friday and leave saturday night.
Possibly head over late on Thursday night, maybe.

basically, who else wants to go,

  I like the angle lads,
it wouldnt be an expensive trip, unless you buy all around you at the event itself :P
TBH, I dont think I'd be bringing anyone with me.

Frank, just had a look back through some old photographs of when we were there, that was 2007, god, it didnt feel like it was nearly 5 years ago !!!

so Gordon, you interested ?

yea, I dont remember it costing £135 last time we went there for a double room.
Thats £67.50 each for 2 people in one room, I suppose its not too bad considering where it is.

Ryanair at this crap again - visa 'administration' fee.
Give me a break.
Still it's coming to just over 40 euro which is peanuts really.

I'm gonna book it anyway and roll the dice on weather I can go or not
(start a new job in Galway soon)

The line up looks good and there is a good buzz on FB/Twitter about it already. I guess it'll be easy hook up with some familiar faces again which would be good fun.

yea, didnt see the admin fee til I fully booked the flight, they are some shower, why dont they just say it up front, they only bring bad carma on themselves.
Anyway as for Galway, so you moving there ?
