The book shelf fell down

Post by Conn Buckley » Tue Jan 24, 2012 1:17 pm

I have a few astronomy related books if anybody is interested in taking them. First one is a hard back copy of Patrick Moore's 'New Guide To The Planets' that was first published in 1993. Next is a hard back copy of 'Isaac Newton' by James Gleick that was first published in 2003.
And finally I have 'The Irish Astronomical Journal' March 1993 which is a 'Cyclopaedia of Telescope Makers' ( a half yearly publication under the auspices of the Armagh and Dunsink observatories). This has some great drawings/images of historical scopes and accessories and would be a nice keepsake if you are interested in the evolution of scope design. I think this was in the club library for years.
If anyone wants them I can bring them to next club meeting.

Dave, Just the colouring book ... but I have not finished it yet!

Roy, they are yours. I shall bring them to the next meeting I get to. [/quote]
