G'luck with the table quiz July meeting!

Post by Frank Ryan » Tue Jul 06, 2010 8:22 pm

I won't be back so best of luck.
It might become a bit if a tradition of it's
worth it!
So Dave.
How many pairs of binos will that be that you'll own then?!
(Conan - I think there needs to be a Crazy General Knowlage round
just for good measure!)

Well done and thanks Conan for all the work in setting a very enjoyable quiz. Your inclusion of a broad range of general knowledge questions certainly gave everybody an opportunity to clock up a few scores especially folks like me who have difficulty differentiating between one space craft and another!
Just wondering why you went for gold when asking for the atomic number? Right beside it in the table was Iridium ...... now had you asked for that one I would have known the answer!
As for the 1973 album ... Inner Visions was it? .... I wonder (I nearly gave it away there) would anybody who was not at the quiz know who recorded that album?
As Frank said I think you might have hit on a great idea for an annual event there. BTW, congrats to Gordon for heading the field.

Nicely done Conan. I definitely think this could be an annual event, as its
always hard to come up with something to do in the summer months.

My prize is in the post, right? :)
