I found this handy site that gives you all the Messier objects and the constellations that they're in www.astro-tom.com. Hope ye find it helpful cause I've already printed em all off the site and I'm just going out now to study the constellations and what M's lie's with in.

have a look at the messier observing challenge, its good for logging and drawing what you see. The other challenges are also great.
