Best of luck to the new committee

Post by Frank Ryan » Thu Feb 03, 2011 8:44 pm

I'd like to wish the new committee members
new and old a very enjoyable and productive year ahead.
I'm 100% confident now we have shaken off
the shackels of the efforts, worry and costs of
flying in speakers for our starparty the club will only benifit from it.
I'd just like to add now that I have
the time, I'm more than happy to do the
Saturday night talk in the Media Centre to get
the ball rolling this year.

Thanks Frank..

Hopefully this year will be a good fiscal year for the club... And you're right no speakers equals less worry and more time doing what we want to be doing, which is viewing the night sky from 1 of the best dark sky site in Europe.

Cheers Roy :D :D

Well Frank,
Many thanks for been a super chairman over the previous years, your enthusiasm and interest to get the job done was obvious to all.
You know my extreme reluctance at taking up the chairmans role and only took it as it was looking like it was going to go unfilled, a situation we absolutely cannot afford.

I had a big paragraph in here, and have deleted it, ah well, such is life.

As for the fiscal side of ther club, its in good shape and is not a concern.
Anyway, rant over, we'll see how it goes this year.

Well done on your chairmanship Frank. The past two years was a difficult period to be chair but you handled it very well.

Ditto. The club was brought back from the edge, to the active and vibrant club it is now under your chairmanship. Very well done!
