clear tonight

Post by Dave Lillis » Fri Oct 26, 2012 7:18 pm

hi all,
I'll be out later in the dome if anyone wants to come along and have a look see.
The moon is on show primarily, so I'll be hunting down those little craters
:)

boy its cold out there, thermometer in the dome hit 2 degrees, thankfully the dome itself kept the wind out.
Got great views of schroters valley, the marius hill, kepler, tycho and lots of other stuff,
even found a crater called 'billy' !
never noticed that before.

Jupiter was looking big aswell !
