Will we attempt to observe the 'near miss'?
So as we all know Asteroid 2012 DA14 will thankfully miss us on Feb 15.
I've run it thru Starry Night and while we will miss the approach we will see it zoom away. General direction in N in the area of the Plough.
Maybe we can look at it more closely at the Feb meeting?
For those of you that had not known about it;

Okay Guys...
Its do or Die... the only place to see
this is East and I'm thinking of heading to
Balscadden Road Dublin, it has a big carpark
facing out over the Irish sea and a clear look North
if any1 else is interested in joining me just give me a shout
but I reckon we should be on the road for 6pm and set up by
8:45pm.
Cheers Roy
