Observing at Lough Gur tonight Mon 29 Dec

Post by Frank Ryan » Mon Dec 29, 2014 2:34 pm

There will be no lights on at the lake tonight.
The satellites are showing patchy high alt haze.
There is a little wind so less chance of fog tonight.
If the HP system moves a little further north in the next few hours
Clear patches should be on the cards.
The half Moon will be an issue though but it will be setting around 1:00 AM
I'm planning on taking a spin out tonight like we said anyway.
Anyone else up for it?
