Clear weather?
Well lads,
Saturday night is forecast for clear skies & low winds.
If I was about I'd be in the Burren set up and ready to observe
at midday with my flask in one hand and skymap in the other it's
been so long since I've been out!
I'll be in the North so I'm hoping to steal away up to the Giants Causeway
for a few shots.
(more loping around in the dark in 'break your neck' places - hopefully!)

It's massive and its moving slowly N/W.
The isobars are wide / jet stream not over us, and it looks like excellent observing weather for the
next week!
There is also a few high passes of the ISS & Shuttle ,
Whos up for observing!?!?!

Keep an eye out for the shuttle just behind the iss.
there is a pass at 20.41
http://www.heavens-above.com/PassDetail ... 8633591088
So you should see the pair almost on top of each other very bright just under orion.
I feel a photograph coming on!

They are due to dock at 16.11 central US time so that's 22.11 GMT.
The pass is at 20.39 so they will be right next to each other .
The pass before that is at 19.05 GMT
http://www.heavens-above.com/PassDetail ... 7982940509
so that may show a better seperation although it is low.
I'll be in antenatal classes with Terry during that one
but I plan to be down the low road in Bunratty set up for the next one.
Anyone fancy meeting up there?
