I can be there for Friday night but not Sat or Sunday.
So I will bring the 10''.
Someone will have to take it from me there so as to have
it for the Sat / Sunday nights.

If this observing session is going ahead tonight, what time should I arrive there at?

did it happen last night after? I went down for 8 but seen no one so i presumed it wasn't going ahead.

Welcome to the boards.
Yes. The lads were there last night untill half ten.
The weather is to get worse tonight with zero
Chance of clear skies so it is off.
We can take a look again on Sunday to see.
Other than this one I think we may run
Another club session soon so stay tuned for that.

Did anyone make it out last night. I left the house at 7.40pm to head down. It was clear where I was but the city looked clouded out. I didn't make it to the end of the road before it started raining. Turned around and went back to a nice warm (and dry) house.
We must be mad :?

I dunno John.
One out of three ain't bad!

Fair play to Conan, Dave, Gordon and the rest for
making the effort on Thursday.

As we end the year we may as well pan our own one.

Well,
Gordon and I made if for 8pm, it was clear but the cloud and rain came in at 8.20 so we went home.
When I got home Stephen rang me saying he was down there, in the rain,
You cant say we didnt try.

I caught the first session, and thanks to all for organising it. I loved the view, Jupiter was in fine form. Good to touch base with you all.

Hopefully see you again soon. clear skies permitting!

Thanks,
Billy.
