well its hard to predict what gonna happen, I was out last night for a small while and it was windy enough, I did hear the forecast say it would clear up but it also said it wouldnt last long with more cloud behind it.
Given our bad luck in recent times, there is no way I'm calling an observing session unless I know for absolute certain its gonna be clear, I'm tired of us all going out to be then clouded out, do that enough times and people will stop coming.
IF people really want to chance going out then call me and if I 'm persuadable then I'll send out the text alert.
There are a few more weekends yet this year anyway.

Guys'n Gals,
I know there are alot of clear skies out there at the moment, go out and observe if you can.
I'm reluctant to call an observing sesison with all the ice around, it was seriously dangerous on the roads over the past week or so with the vast majority of roads been ungritted making them like ice rinks.
But that doesnt mean you cant do it yourself in your back garden.
Anyway, we'll see how the week goes.

Guys'n Gals.
I know there are clear night this weekend, but I'm just too shattered this weekend to do anything, celebrating the new year and all that, shattered!
So do go out if you like and let us know how you get on.
