well Tom, I have to say its not looking good for tonight so far, I cant even see the moon, you might have more luck.
Looking at the sat images, it looks like the clouds formed over the landmass of the country as the sun went down,

Well there's always next year Dave.
I'm looking forward to the lunar eclipse!
Got my first good look at the moon tonite through the 9.25, was brill even through a 40mm eyepeice.
I ordered a 10mm eyepeice last week, waiting for it to arrive, cant wait to see the views through it.
