Ah yes.
Forgot about all that crap they carry on with.
Well, it'll be probably 20K for me coz
I'd be bringing the ETX, Manfrotto +
camera bag.
Not much room for clothes but hey!..
It'll be roasting there anyway.

There are some very interesting reads on the web about the observatory.
They are very open to the public which may be both a good and bad thing.
I've got a contact from the guy in the Canaries fir the main club in Barcelona so I'll run them
off a mail just to see what they would advise.
Bearing innmind that the prime objective is to observe the eclipse unhampered and un hindered.

I'll use 1x15kg bag, they can go stuff their insurance and priority booking.

Im gonna wait till after the meeting to book anything, but do intend to have it all done and dusted by the end of that week,
Roy, welcome on board, you da boy :P

Was there any other takers at the meeting not on the boards?
Still no sign of the email reply from Fabra.
I'll ring the observatory alltogether today,
I was given the number of the PRO there.

Sound! thanks for the offer Roy but if anything happened to your baby I'd never forgive myself! :(
I won't be bringing the CPC with me either, besides the weight, I could picture some baggage handler chucking it into the cargo hold and throwing a load of bags and buggies on top of it!
I might invest in a small travel scope for the event
