him delivering anything as long as we
foot the bill.... He live in Connecticut

The price does not include tripod.
I have a tripod that will do the job.
I think 250 for this is a very good price.
Postage cant be that much.
Surely only around 50.

Postage by him to us if sent from the US
is €65
"OK Frank, here is some shipping info
If I ship from Canada $97 + $4.50 ($300 insurance) Total $101.50 CDN
If I ship from US $76 + $5 (import fee) + $5.60 ($300 insurance)Â Total $86.60
Both quotes are by Mail service
One problem though
We are in a hurry to get these
That could be a problem depending on how fast you want this. I am currently building 5 at a time, (about 40% done) and I only build them in batches - everybody gets them shipped at the same time. I am another 4 weeks from finishing add 2 weeks for shipping and another week for "who knows what"
Remember, I do not ship the counter weights - they are standard weight lifting barbell stuff
You need a 5\8" mounting screw - preferably a Survey type tripod. You can use other configurations , as long as you leave room for the protrusion at the bottom of my azimuth bearing - see attached. See red base, that is normal, the black base has a "washer" installed so a flat install is possible.
And you will need a small "L" bracket to attach center mounting binoculars to the Pmount - see attached
Regards  Roy"
I've requested a price for him to post
it to my mate in NY.
To see the difference.
I also asked him woukd he send it as a gift.

He said he marks them
'wooden toy' & 'gift'
Sounds good to me.
He does do a tripod option,
i asked him for a quote jyst outa pig iron.
my tripod will be fine if the club wants to
save a few quid and buy them.
We can compare both prices and
make up our minds.
Not sure what the going rate is for an
etx pe tripod but plenty of time for that

ok so, we'll see what price he comes back with the tripod, the existing tripod here with the binos might work with his mount, but guys I'd hate to scrimp on a few quid and fuck this up..
Personally, I want a system that just works, no fidgeting, no hassle, no shite.
