I was tidying my astronomy stuff in the computer and came across an avi file of Jupiter from Feb 18 , 2007. This was made with a Phillips web cam and a barlow and the LX 200R 10".
So, with the help of Dave's notes on using Registax I decided to give the avi a 'real go'. I realise that I do not fully understand all to do with Registax processing but here's my best effort. BTW, I do not have Photoshop -- presumably more could be done -- but I am happy with it.

Very nice Conn, I'd say you nailed that image well, how many frames did you use, I think if you could use more frames it would be less noisy.
Going on that image Id' say your registax skills are well there.
The tutorial I put together was built from watching Cor Berrevoet himself (program writer) and Dave Gradwell giving tutorials on how to use registax, one of the advantages of recording the WSP is that I could re-watch Cor's talk and make extensive notes on it. So if you follow the tutorial then you're able to use 95% of what registax has to offer.

A grand shot there Conn.
Your processing skills are evident.
It's a fine size too. Was that with a barlow?
(Corrected the name of the post also

)

Frank, oooops!

Thanks. I had it submitted when I spotted it. I don't think I can retrieve a 'sent piece' for modification?

I had a look at Saturn through this 10" scope and was impressed by the image, definitely a different look about it compared to the "normal" SCT.

I'm not sure, I certainly felt that the image was very sharp and the background was well dark, I suppose a side by side scope comparison is in order.
