Joining the Club:

As a potential new member, you are most welcome to come along to any of the club meetings listed on the meetings page  and sit in for a night free to see if it's your cup of tea. We will be delighted to answer any questions you have and feel free to bring your scope along if you need help with it. The present club subscription is from September to September. We run a gradually reducing fee for those who join during the year. 
If you wish to join, ask for an application form at the next club meeting.

Here is whats on offer for those who join,

• Use of the clubs 2 telescopes on observing nights, including the high power binoculars, the club buys the equipment so you dont have to. We pride ourselves in been one of thee best equiped clubs in the country.

• Text alerts about upcoming events and club meetings reminders. 

• Monthly meetings in Mary I college with invited and club speakers.

• Latest astronomy news.

• Workshops on how to use/build a telescope.

• Club night sky observing sessions at club observing sites.
