Total solar eclipse in Turkey.

Club members go on an expedition along with several other clubs in IFAS to observe the total solar eclipse in March.

Shannonside at UL Science week

SAC Club members tend to the exhibition & information stand at 
the University of Limerick Science Week event.

Shannonside trip to Armagh Observatory

The club organised a trip to the world famous Armagh observatory, we were given a tour of the main building, instrumentation including thee original NGC deepsky catalogue,  the observatory domes, the gounds where there is fuill scale model of the solarsystem and then a trip trough the museum. It was a fantastic trip, one we hope to repeat someday.
